Making a Splash
As natives of the area, Steve & Shelley spent their childhood years traveling to lakes throughout West Michigan with their families. Full of fond memories, they enjoy recapturing the delight they felt when they were young. “Going to one of the lakes always meant splashing around with my friends,” Steve recalls. Even now, when they’re on the water, they still feel like they’re on vacation. Intent on passing on such wonderful sentiments to their own children, the Frodys decided that living on a lake would be the perfect way to raise the family. “In some ways,” Shelley says, “it feels like we’re on vacation all the time!” Even when they’re hard at work, Steve and Shelley know that at the end of the day, they’ll be back home on the water.
Dive In
When Steve and Shelley aren’t working with their valued clients or spending time with their daughters on the water, they play an active role in their church. In fact, the church has played a vital role in their relationship as well. That’s because it was in a church youth group where Steve and Shelley first met. At the time, they were in high school, but they knew eventually they would form a wonderful partnership. Throughout their marriage, Steve and Shelley have prided themselves on being supportive, helping each other through school and their blossoming careers. It comes as no surprise that with such a great marriage, they make perfect business partners.
Whenever their busy schedules permit, Steve and Shelley love to spend quiet time with their daughters, Shontaveon and Larissa, fishing, boating, and visiting friends on Cedar Lake.
